#LifeAtRamco is the amazing super duper event… I really enjoyed to the core .. The event was scheduled on – 29/4/16 at their Head Quarters in Taramani..Once i entered they welcomed all with lemon tea & healthy snacks from @snackExperts. We were given Wi-Fi passwords which was damn fast. Bloggers being divided into teams to tour and experience Ramco’s Work Culture. My Team name is Idli Sambhar team… The hall was really decorated very nice with a digital flower vase
They took us a tour first through a video which started with a nice saying TGIM which stands for “Thank God,It’s Monday” … Employees work easy by relaxing themself without tension..

We started Ramco tour and @Dhara, a sweet girl hosted us.. First we went to marketing room were employees given a massage named
#Chirapsia – Massage in Greek. Wish I could come here daily to relax myself.. Employees get these massage and make themself relax and go back to work again here
I was wondering its a college campus or a work place as many games, attractive & funny cartoon paintings inside the room .. It was soo colurful..
Next we went to interview room were again employees were cool, posing with props cliking pics……. here are my pose
We came to cafeteria were Mr ram made coffee and all healthy snacks like sandwitch, coffee, snacks sold here.. We also came to know a secret that Virendra Aggarwal, the CEO of Ramco can brew his own coffee
Many cool musical stuff at display here in the Fika Cafe…. I too tried playing drums..
Lastly we came to ‘retreat’ space where zumba, dancing and many more activities take place!!
We had a amazing dinner my fav sandwitches and potato french fries.. enjoyed a lot…

I was totally no mood to come back home .. I was the last person to come out!! I really started getting jealous of all employees work here as their office is a total relaxing place they and work and achieve more to reach their goals!!!! All the very best to all !!!

Simple and easy vegetable biryani in a pressure cooker or rice cooker,
Biriyani is my family’s all time favourite whenever i am busy or feel lazy i just goahead with biriyani ……
Biryani is often seen as time-consuming and needing many ingredients but it needn’t be that way. Often, I just make this one-pot, healthy, and easy vegetable biryani with whatever vegetables I have in hand and it makes a wholesome meal with some pickle, raita and papad..Also Biriyani taste better the next day…. yummmm yummm…..
INGREDIENTS: (240 ml cup used)
1 ½ cup of basmathi rice (soaked for at least 10 mins)
1 cup potato cubed
1 cup carrot chopped
1 cup beans chopped
1 cup green peas
1 cup onion sliced
1 cup tomato chopped
1 tbsp. ginger garlic paste
Coriander leaves (optional)
1 ½ to 2 tsp. red Chilli powder
1/2 tbsp coriander powder
1/4 tbsp haldi powder
1 tbsp garam masala/biriyani masala
2 ½ cups water
2 to 3 tbsp. Oil & Ghee
1/2 tsp Poppy Seeds
1 tsp Fennel Seeds
1 bay leaf
4 green cardamons
Two 1 inch cinnamon stick
½ tsp. jeera powder
Salt to taste
First we have to Soak rice for at least 10 minutes. Drain the water and set aside in rice cooker
Now take a pan and add oil to a pressure cooker and heat it.
Once the oil heated add dry spices(bay leaf, cardamons,poppy seedsmfennel seeds,cloves, cinnamon stick) and fry till you get a nice aroma for one to 2 minutes.
Now fry onions until golden. Add ginger garlic paste and saute until the raw smell has gone.
Add tomato fry for sometime and add all chopped vegetables, fry for about 2 minutes.
Now add chilli powder, coriander powder, haldi powder, garam masala/biriyani masala & jeera powder….
Mix & saute it for 2 more minutes.
Then add water as measured, salt….stir well Add ghee for smell and taste…
Now pour it in rice cooker and allow the rice to cook … When the rice is cooked, the switch automatically goes to keep warm position….
open the lid and fluff up….
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve it with pickle, raita or papad and enjoy……..

My daughter love vanilla cake so much so i tried it at home hope u will also love it..
Eggless vanilla cake is also very healthy for ur kids .. It can be send as evening snacks instead of junk food..
Egg-less cakes can be tricky as they usually turn out dry and dense and crumble easily but If u follow these steps it will be sure soft, moist, tender and fluffy
Maida – 1 and 1/2 cups (200 gms)
Plain yogurt(Curd) – 1 cup (250 ml) Sugar – 3/4 cup (165 gms)
Butter – 78 gms
Baking soda – 1/2 tsp Baking powder – 1 and 1/4 tsp Cooking oil – 1/2 cup (125 ml) Vanilla essence – 1 and 1/2 tsp Milk – 1 tbsp (just for brushing the top)
Tutti frutti- 1/4 cup
Sieve maida twice and keep aside. sugar , butter and curd until sugar completely dissolves. Add baking powder, baking soda, to the creamed mixture and mix well.
Just leave it for 5 mins Add Now vanilla essence,cooking oil and mix well make sure no lumps.
Now add maida little by little and mix well until u get a whisk creamy thick batter without lumps
Preheat oven to 350 deg C for 10mins.
I have a heart shape tin so i greased it with oil and poured the batter , now garnish with tutti frutti and keep it ready..
Now reduce temperature to 180 deg C and bake it for 30-35 mins..
Insert a fork in the center of the cake if it comes out clean
Allow the cake to cool down for 10mins, then invert and remove the butter paper.
Then cut/slice them into pieces serve and enjoy..
My family loves it and i hope sure u will try as its really simple to make it……

Amy Jackson, Nivi’s school teacher, the second heroine, who has a ‘thing’ for Joseph is the one to call him out. Joseph confesses that he is the popular Vijay Kumar, an erstwhile Deputy Commissioner of Chennai and he is not a brother to Nivi, but a father. Then the story is about police vs villains and well, connect the dots.
Instantly, we know the story. Any film in which a mass hero is a mouse in the early reels will feature a flashback in which we see him as a tiger, and then a second flashback in which we see why this tiger transformed into a mouse. Atlee’s screenplay checks all the boxes, and we’re checking these boxes ten minutes ahead of him. But that’s not the problem. We don’t go to these movies expecting finely etched narrative arcs and convincing characters…….
I liked the story but i feel the old same story.. Expecting much more from my fav actor Vijay .. The cute daughter Nivi is really a theriiiiii baby!!!!!

1 1/2 cups (375 ml) all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoon (7.5 ml) baking powder
1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) baking soda
1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) salt
1 cup (250 ml) sugar
3/4 cup (180 ml) cocoa powder
3/4 cup (180 ml) vegetable oil
1 teaspoon (5 ml) vanilla extract
1 cup (250 ml) milk
1 tablespoon color sugar balls to decorate
With the rack in middle position, preheat the oven to 180 °C (350 °F). Line a 12 cavity muffin tray with paper liners
Mix all of the dry ingredients well with a mixer or wooden spoon first then add in all your liquid ingredients. It should be brown and smooth, free of lumps.
Evenly distribute cake batter. Each cupcake liner should be about ¾th full.
Place in the oven and bake 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool and store in an airtight container.
Remove from the oven and allow the cupcakes to cool completely…

If your butter has been in the fridge, defrost it in the microwave for about 15 seconds.

Masala Vada is a South Indian favorite snack that is made with spiced chana dal. It is a common street food in Tamil Nadu and is available in most of the road side shops and hotels. Well! Are you carving for a restaurant style masala vadai now?
Here is a very simple recipe which can be prepared by anyone…. Ingredients:
1 cup chana dal or also known Bengal gram
1 tablespoons rice flour
1 teaspoon salt
1-1/2 teaspoons fennel seeds crushed
1 cup fine chopped onions
1/2 teaspoon black pepper crushed
1/8 teaspoon asafetida
1 tablespoon ginger paste
2 tablespoons finely chopped green chilies
i tablespoon curry leaves
Soak Channa dal (kadalai paruppu) in water for 4 hours.Drain the water completely
Grind 2 red chillies and fennel seeds, ginger paste first and then add the rest of the channa dal and grind without adding water coarsely.
Then add finely chopped onions, rice flour , finely chopped green chillies, astafetida, black pepper,salt,finely chopped coriander leaves and few curry leaves to the above mix.
Heat oil in a pan Take a small lemon sized ball of the mix, flatten it with your hands and gently slip it into the oil.
Keep in medium heat and fry the vadas both sides till golden brown and crisp. Repeat the same procedure for the rest of the mix.
Serve hot n crispy vada with green chutney or tea ! My kids love it with tea . Enjoy making these delicious vadas.Come back for more interesting recipes and tips.

We reached the venue at 1 and were eagerly waiting to taste each and every dishes..
Mr. Krishnan started that Uttar Bhojan is started becoz of her while Mrs Akila Krishnan being a home maker and proud mother of 2!! she was soo passionate about cooking.. She born & bought up in North she always so eager to bring the taste of North to the South !
Uttar Bhojan is her debut attempt to bring mouth watering , healthy home made North Indian food at ur door step.. They started at small level initially and it was growing slowly Mr Krishnan said that seeing that in south everyone loving the taste of North left his job and starting doing it seriously….
We were welcomed by their welcome drink NIMBU KI SHIKANJI.. It was really so nice made of lemon, water, black salt, pepper and handiya salt( UP special) and jeera powder
The they served us their signature dish yummy Samosa and different types of parathas (panner paratha, gobi paratha, aloo paratha and mooli paratha).. I really loved the aloo parathas very much
And the tops mixed pickle was really super awesome still remember the taste…..
Gulab jamun and badusha were really excellent.. soft and delicious

Being a north Indian i really enjoyed all items very much last but not the least the bread pakoda steal the show loved it

I’m very happy to bring you this eggless Strawberry Cupcake recipe. As most of the people in India are stict vegetarians, even they can enjoy these cupcakes. If I don’t mention that these are Eggless, nobody can guess that these are made without Eggs. The texture of these cupcakes is just amazing.
Follow all the instructions carefully and make them to enjoy with your family!
125 gm ( 1/2 cup) plain flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
28 gm oil
105 gm (3/4 cup packed powdered sugar or fine sugar)
28 gm (1/2 cup) butter
30 ml water
95 ml (1 cup) milk
1/2 tsp vanilla essence & 2 tbsp strawberry crush
1/8 gm salt
Preheat the oven to 350F, line the muffin tray with muffin papers.
In a bowl, sift the flour,baking powder,baking soda and salt.
Meanwhile in a small bowl whisk together the sugar, yogurt,milk,salt,oil and vanilla essence & strawberry crush
Pour the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, whisk lightly. Dont overmix the batter.
Spoon the batter evenly to the already prepared pan and bake for 15-20minutes until a skewer inserted comes out clean.
Transfer to wire rack and cool it.
Carefully remove the muffins from the pan, cool
then decorate with icing completely and enjoy with family .

This Wednesday morning we were so excited to have a Blogger meet with 5 star chicken India as being a pure vegetarian i had little hesitation but my friend said they sell even veg stuffs …. In a dilemma i just went in the room were it was arranged quite superb and they took me to their kitchen and made me comfortable that they have a seperate side for veg & non veg. Then somehow i got convinced and tasted the food … The veg fingers, veg burger , aloo parata….really super delicious
